I thank you for you are there
Who died for daring
Who died for sure
Who died completely.

I thanked
For bodies which are now reduced to ashes
Because of you we were free
Because you shoot up in red and white eagle sky
Towering be evidence of blood and lives have tertaruh.

I thanked
For your courage
Courage that grows at the base of the heart
Snatch spread of blood
There is no fear of you fighting
Even matipun want thee.

I thanked
For each prayer
The prayer that every black fly in the sky
Ceaseless prayer beads you cease
For us, Indonesia next.

I thanked
Our soil underfoot
The water we drink
Is the blood and soul
Were first floated.

I thanked
Once again, I thank you
For those of you who are now in heaven
Smiling viewed eagle flying high.
